The purpose of this study is to find out policy implication for promoting foreign direct investment inflows in service industry.
This study comprised three core chapters.
First, this paper analyzes the economic growth effect of service industry in the korean economy. It is found shown that the growth of service industry has been positive effects for business cycle, unemployment problem balance of payment, regional economic discrepancy, and etc.
Second, this paper reviews the trend and composition of FDI in Korea industry. The structure of FDI in Korea has shifted towards service industry.
Third, this paper overviews the competition policy for service industry, such as, economic policy, foreign trade policy and FDI policy.
Finally, this paper concludes that promotion of competition power for service Industry depend on the efficient policy alternatives by Korean government.
