An experiment to observe reduction of pressure oscillation from the Reciprocating Compressor inside a pipe line which is equipped by snubber has been done. The experiment measured pressure at inlet and outlet of snubber. It used an air compressor as a model of hydrogen one. Snubber with buffer and snubber without buffer were used to get comprehensive characteristics of each of them. Then comparison between both of that snubber was conducted. An analysis by using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method also was conducted to verify the working pressure frequency. With this method pure signal of static pressure was filtered from noisy signal. The experiment was run for various motor frequency setting which are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 hertz. The motor was connected to the piston-reciprocating compressor by using V-belt. So by adding the motor frequency will make compressor speed higher. From result obtained, the oscillation was increasing proportionally when frequency of driver motor was increased. The with buffer snubber shows better performance than the without buffer one.
