The purpose of this study is to consider how cross fashion has changed from the past to the present and research the current cross fashion style of the youth in their late teens and twenties. The study results are as follows.
First, the fashion trend analysis shows that men prefer skiny pants with womanish line and women prefer tailored jacket emphasizing shoulder and shirt with loose silhouette. Although entire silhouette did not change much, it was found that they express cross fashion with small objects or details such as fedora and sneaker for women and manicure, ring and bracelet fashion jewelry for men.
Second, the questionnaire contents analysis shows that although there is a little difference between men and women, they have high interest in fashion generally and have positive opinions about the cross fashion. For the reason they prefer cross fashion, men chose personality and fashion and women chose convenience and fashion in order. For the favorite purchasing place, men chose offline store and internet shopping mall and women chose internet shopping mall and offline store in order. For the intention to purchase cross fashion in the future, both of men and women showed high intention.
Therefore, the study on cross fashion shown in the domestic youth fashion shows that the current cross fashion is connected to more specialized, personalized consumption. It will be the work to grasp the mental world of modern person, who understands and accepts a new culture, and will be the guide to study youth-oriented trend.
