A new conulariid species, Paraconularia geumcheonensis, is described from a dark gray shale bed of the Geuncheon Formation (Upper Carboniferous), Sangdong area, Korea. This records the first occurrence of conulariids in Korea. “Serpulites” ruedemanni from the Dumugol Formation, which was once considered as a member of Conulariida, is not a conulariid, but may belong to an annelid of uncertain affinity.
