The aim of this study is to empirically examine the influence of resource and dynamic capability on competitive advantage in export firms. And To achieve the purpose above, the research framework has been developed with two resource factors/physical and human resource), dynamic capability and competitive advantage. Also test that whether dynamic capability can mediate the relationships between resource and competitive advantage has been analyzed. Seven hypotheses have been proposed and tested on 386 samples(exporting firms) using Amos 7.0.
Research findings suggest that two resource factors influence positively dynamic capability factor and human resource factor has positive impacts on competitive advantage as well. However, physical resourcex(one of the resource factors) does not influence competitive advantage. About the analysis of mediate influence human resource has a direct impact and an indirect effect via dynamic capability factors(as partial mediating roles) on competitive advantage. And the physical resource has only a indirect effect via dynamic capability factors(as full mediating roles) on competitive advantage.
In conclusion, it is suggested that the management of exporting firms in Korea should make an effort to pursue continuous dynamic capability improving human resource in order to raise up competitive advantage.
