In order to examine the suitability of causal model with the variables of social support, job stress, anxiety and job change intention among sports-for-all instructors, this study has been analyzed with the subjects of 438 instructors by means of one-way ANOVA and structural equation modeling. The results are as follows;
First, there are significant differences in the extent of job change intention according to individual characteristics, which are gender, monthly income and teaching experience, except type of sports they instruct. As for gender, men have higher intention to change the job. As for monthly income, lower income group have higher intention to change the job. As for teaching experience, shorter teaching experience group have higher intention to change the job. Second, the revised structural model is appropriate for the analysis after eliminating improper measured factors from the initial structural model designed with social support, job stress, anxiety and job change intention. Third, the factor that has the biggest effect on job change intention is job stress, and then comes anxiety and social support in this order. Social support and job stress have indirect effects on job change intention as well.
Consequently, government administration in charge of sports for all and the authorities concerned should try to remove the causes of sports instructors' intention to change the job, and provide a teaching environment where they can perform their job with sincerity.
