The purpose of this study is to search for the method to activate adult training group through social Taekwondo Kyorugi club. For the purpose, qualitative study was performed. Through the interview method participating in and observing adult Taekwondo Kyorugi club, Taekwon Maru, it was possible to get following study results.
First, it was found that people participate in Taekwondo Kyorugi club(Taekwon Maru) because of the absence of an opportunity to face Taekwondo Kyorugi in Taekwondo training center and leader's insufficient ability with regard to Kyorugi. Therefore, as the method to improve the phenomenon, it is necessary to reinforce the Taekwondo leader's Kyorugi teaching ability. Second, the attractiveness of Taekwondo Kyorugi was found when the splendid kick technique of Taekwondo was applied in Kyorugi through fitness training and strategical training and the basic attractiveness of martial art was displayed in the competition against opponent. The development of the marketing program using the value of this attractiveness is one of the method to activate adult Taekwondo training group. Third, as the method to activate adult Taekwondo training group through Taekwondo Kyorugi, the study suggested the method to open Taekwondo Kyorugi club only for adult, enlarge the facility to enjoy Taekwondo Kyorugi and hold the tournament for pure amateurs. Especially, from the aspect of social exchange, the opening of interclub tournament will be another attractive factor for adult group, who is engaged in social activity.
