Recently, one of the main objectives of DRM system is to develop a user-friendly DRM system. In this paper, we propose a new DRM system based on IB-mRSA [3] and the concept of "Authorized Domain" [4] for home network. In particular, we focus on designing a new DRM system which greatly reduces the need for, and reliance on, certificates. Moreover, our DRM system does not require any secure channel between a device and Rights Issuer as well as interaction between Contents Issuer and Rights Issuer. As a result, the complexity of the proposed system can be alleviated significantly. The proposed DRM system also provides essential functionality for home DRM system, which enables users to use their multiple devices freely in the home network.
