The followers of President Syngman Rhee(1948~1960) insisted that he didn’t know the illegal processes of the election of the president and the vice president. It was held on March 15, 1960. But the historical records show that Syngman Rhee was the top planner of the election. Also he deeply intervened in the election held for the establishment of the Republic of Korea on May 10, 1948 and the following elections. Syngman Rhee had the country under the despotic rule with the overall cooperation of the police. He also demaged the country of the liberal democracy by amending the Constitution in twice.
