We tried to investigate the problems and functional change of fishing villages located inner city and review the appropriateness of governmental policies on the fishing community to set up the long term direction for inner city fishing community development at the standpoint of regional society.
In this study, we layed stress on the field investigation, coexistence and harmony between fishing community and neighboring citizen, and sustainable development to induce the effective conclusion for the 17 inner city fishing communities in central Busan area, from Haeundae to Saha district.
The major contents of this study are composed by the analysis on the present situation and problems of fishing community in central Busan area, analysis on the functional changes of inner city fishing community, assortment by socio-economic characteristics of individual fishing community, and establishment of long term development direction.
For the successful performance, we tried to derive the problems by field study and direct interview, analyse the mid term production structural changes of the fishing ports, and deduct of development direction by Analytic Hierarchy Process Technique.
