This study intends to analyze the performance of New University for Regional Innovation Project(NURI). The NURI project was carried out by the Korean local universities for the past 5 years since 2004 with the government support totalling about 1 trillion won. In order to analyse the performance of the NURI project on the employment rate, this paper first reviewed the trends of the employment rates of NURI project teams and other comparable groups. And then this paper analysed the difference of the employment rates of NURI project teams and other comparable groups by repeated measures ANOVA. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the gain in terms of the average employment rate of NURI teams was found to be higher than those of other comparable groups. Second, repeated measures ANOVA also confirmed that the NURI project was successful in enhancing employment rates.
