This paper deals with Arthur Tappan Pierson"s doctrine on the Evidences of Christianity. This is a day of doubt. Scepticism is more than ever wide spread. It is finding its way quietly into the very churches of Christ. We must be our guard. The importance of the study of the Evidences of Christianity, which establish of the Religion of Christ, as the one and only Divine Religion, cannot well be overstated.
God himself gave us reasoning powers to weigh evidence with, and he means that we shall test truth and falsehood, proving all things and holding fast the good. These proofs, if they are candidly examined, will cure all honest doubt. A careful study of the evidences makes intelligent and steadfast believers.
