The Hansung Dental Association and campaign for dental hygiene and welfare of members.Shin Jai Eui's dental clinicShin Jai Eui, D.D.S.,M.S.D.,Ph.D.The Hansung Dental Association established in 1925 was the organization made by the necessity of the association for Koreans only. In 1928, as its member increased, it made several departments and system for holding conferences and took several actions for dental research, campaign for oral hygiene and welfare of its members. In September 25th, 1935, the Hansung Dental Association joined the Combined Chosun Dental Association as the organization representing Korean dentists. In October the 1st, 1942, the Hansung Dental Association joined forcefully to the Kyungsung Dental Association in the name of ‘Naesunilche’--Japan and Korea are one--Korean dentists couldn’t do any collective actions.Activities for oral hygiene were done mainly by the event of ‘decayed tooth preventive day’.Ham Suk Tae, Park Jun Young, Park Jun Dae organized the Hansung Dental Association for Koreans only and developed in various areas such as dental research, campaign for dental hygiene and welfare of members.
