    This study is aimed to examine the progress of development of the jokgu. These are conclusions of this report as in the following. First of all, the jokgu is designed for the pilot to simply play with their uniform in 1966 when they was put on standby situation. In the early stage of jokgul, it has similar rules with jokgu, so that people can easily master the technique. Second, its first rules are devised by the captin, Duckjin Jeong and the lieutenant, Taeksun Ann in 1986 as the name of jokgu. As this new sports got grand awarded by Ministry of National, it spread throughout the army and navy. Third, after the retired soldier went back to school or work, it was started to popularize at a rapid rate since it is easy for anyone to play and it accords with Korean sentiment.
