At the recent automobile trend, engine is becoming downsized because of high emission regulation and highway fuel economy. And exhaust gas temperature increased and material become severed more. Therefore materials are require to development of oxidation reduction and high temperature strength with low cost and high product efficiency which are existing SiMo cast iron advantages. In this study, the addition of aluminium enhance the material property through Al-Si oxidation layers and Al complex carbide. As a result of the addition of aluminium at SiMo cast iron, oxidation reduction, high temperature strength and thermalmechanical fatigue was enhanced.
