The world economic indices, which are determined through the world economy level and its changes, are used to predict business conditions in the near future. In accordance with the prediction results, all countries can mitigate the impact of the economic crisis by planning a strategy being able to handle or adapt to the change. The price of crude oil, one of the most important raw materials, is also affected by the world economy directly or indirectly. That is, crude oil price is similarly fluctuating with the change of the world economic indices. However, there exist a number of world economic indices related to the crude oil price or not. In this paper, major world economic indices which affect the crude oil price are figured out and analyze the interrelationship between these indicators and the crude oil price. Furthermore, we will propose directionality of the crude oil prices forecasting model using the economic indices.
