The purpose of the present study is to find out the impact of the perception of and education on green life on people’s practice of green life. The subjects of the study were 984 men and women chosen from around the country through stratified sampling based on regions, gender, and age. They were grouped into three groups: a group that was not aware of green life (Group NA: Not Aware), a group that was aware of green life (Group A: Aware), and a group that was aware of and had been educated on green life (Group E: Educated). The research instrument was questionnaires comprised on items about the actual implementation of a green life, intention to implement a green life, and the feasible activities to implement a green life in everyday life. The questionnaire items used 5-point Likert type scales. SPSS version 20.0 was used to analyze the data to compare the three groups through ANOVAs and post-hoc tests. Statistically significant differences were found among all three groups in their implementations of and intentions to implement green lives, with Group E at the top, followed by Group A, which in turn was significantly higher than Group E. Significant differences were also found in the individual people’s lives of green life style, with Groups E and A over Group NA.
