Recently, more attention has been paid to green building and its technical elements such as building envelope and building service. In this perspective, climatic characteristics of the site is the key issue for building design, However, it is difficult to obtain a certain area of climate data. Even if the climate data is obtained, it is hard to apply to the building design since it is usually consisted of just series of numbers. Also, designers do not know the effective climatic design strategies suitable for the site with ease. Thus, this study aims to analyze and compare on code and policy of domestic and other countries. WYEC weather data and building bioclimatic chart are adopted for the climate analysis.
