This study was to make quality improvement for teaching methods, by analyzing the effectiveness of track & field class using visual media, it was based on the results of precedent studies. 146 middle school students in B metropolitan city were involved in this experiment, were through 12 class hours for four weeks, it was to analyze academic achievement in the difference of attitude change on track & field class. As the result of analysis, using SPSS V 19.0, in the matter of attitude change on track & field class, the interests of subject matter has a significant difference on the teaching method, the attitude change with active involvement has a significant interaction effect in the teaching method and between sex. In the matter of attitude change in taking exercise, there was a significant interaction effect in the teaching methods and sex. The track & field class using visual media was confirmed that it could be a useful teaching method on the acquisition of knowledge and attitude change in athletics.
