This paper proposes a reversible authentication method for video content by a secure reversible data hiding in the spatial domain, which enables tamper detection of data manipulation, progressively. Moreover, recover the original from the distorted contents by employing reversible data hiding algorithm. In the proposed algorithm, generate hash data in each frame and embed into the corresponding frame by reversible data hiding method. And then reversible data hiding process is applied to group of some frames over the time axis once again. Where, generated hash data of each group become encrypted by a certain cipher algorithm. That can be able to prevent being deceived by replace a set of the frame and the description in the frame with the new set. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
