This research aims to analyze the importance of the strategic factors to realize the logistics hubbing of an international airport, i.e. Incheon International Airport. The aim of the research was done through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) based on the indepth survey of the experts in the related field. Previous studies relating to the international airport was mainly done on the general hubbing strategy and competitiveness of the airports for passengers as opposed to logistics. To illuminate this issues, this study purposes valid results through evaluating and measuring hubbing strategic factors focused on cargos, suggesting the strategic decision making and promoted direction of ‘Selection and Concentration.’ As a result, the research provides meaningful implications to improve the national competitiveness of Korea and for the Incheon International Airport to leap forward as a logistics center of the Northeast Asian region. Academically, the study has developed the hierarchical strategic model which structures the international logistics hubbing strategy. Hence this study will provide the important base to develop the studies related to international airport and the air logistics.
