This study is a comprehensive study to secure regional competitiveness and revitalize regional economy by developing a leisure sport cluster according to leisure sports selection attributes of consumers. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 500 normal leisure sports consumers and local residents, and collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 15.0.
In this process, Scheffe post-hoc test was conducted, when in-depth analysis was required. As the result, it was found that the quality of services provided for leisure sports tourists should be improved, various facilities have to built, and there should be efforts for improving service values and facility images perceived by sports tourists, in order to enhance satisfaction of leisure sports tourists and to promote tourism.
Since consumers have different desires, future-oriented leisure sports cities have to be constructed, based on selection attributes of future leisure sports consumers. Therefore, it is considered that it is required to recognize the importance of related variables extracted from the leisure sports satisfaction structure and to use them practically for establishing marketing policy, for revitalizing leisure sports clusters in Korea that are still in the introduction stage.
