Research of Ancient Joseon culture should begin with discussion of ancient Joseon’s social characteristics, investigation of Korean peninsula and Manchuria’s natural environment, also survey of human’s moral principles (worldviews), and other several social issues once happened there. It must be started from the system and order view.
Nowadays, Ancient Joseon is considered to be the ancient prototype of Korean ethnic, but in addition to the ancient Korean people, some other human races also were involved it. The Ancient Joseon, geopolitically its ways of ruling and territorial management, geo-economically its method of agricultural operations, and also geo-culturally its lifestyles and beliefs, were completely different from ancient China.
In addition, as it was a sea-land country, it was effectively utilizing its marine and terrestrial conditions, in order to promote the formation of sea-land culture. Later dynasties of Korean ethnic sustained and promoted its legitimacy. After a long history practice, it became the prototype of the origin Korean country. In such natural and historical environment, Ancient Joseon held its view of world unity, and tried its best to make it realized.
In brief, Ancient Joseon Culture Circle is a complex historical space, where different races coexisted and shared the diversity of natural environments and human cultures. The author regard it as “Joseon · Korea Community” or “Dong-Yi Community”. The core of this community is the Ancient Joseon. From the Role Theory view, also consider of its original and complex characteristics, the author chose to use “Won-Joseon” as the prokaryotic concept.
