This study aims to analyze how well China has been governing SOE in Chinese telecom industries. CCP and SASAC try to appoint and dismiss SOE high-ranked executives and managers in order to have influences on.
In the case of major telecom companies, such different independent variables have been related to high-level manager reshuffling in different cases on time-series. This study found out that every reshuffling stage is relevant with corporate governance improvement and industrial restructuring, while political policy or regulations are occasionally affected. But patron-client relationship needs to be considered as a potential variable.
