Tanaka Hidemitsu is a writer of Burai group. He went to Korea twice, and spent approximately 8years there. Hidemitsu Tanaka made a literary work of his experience in the Korea that conveys the state of Korean and its literary world. However, Hidemitsu Tanaka denied his experiences of World War two in Korea in his writing. His writings were criticized as planing Korea’s wartime offenses on the war itself. However, actually, Hidemitsu Tanaka leads the Korean literary world and denies work in Korea and finds work in Japan.
By this report, I was going to ascertain his true figure during the second World War and postwar activity and sentence by a refraction process of such Hidemitsu Tanaka on thought. This report tread to compare other Korea relation literary works during the second World War with the war novels that depict the battlefields in China. Having a theme now I want to go a step further.
It is ticked away as a pitiful experience so as to measure self-abnegation and a self excuse with the wartime experience at the Chinese battle front for Hidemitsu Tanaka after the war if this Korea stay is in the latter half. It is accepted as Hidemitsu Tanaka who is a writer by winning Iketani prize of “the fruit of Olimpos” by the Japanese literary world and is piled up with the time when literary world activity began in earnest. However, it is the time when writing activity was not possible without the national policy cooperation for reinforcement of the colonial policy of the emperor on a day with the Pacific War. That’s why, for rising writer Hidemitsu Tanaka, I couldn’t but choose the way of the national policy cooperation irresistibly and left the work to a national policy with it. Through the work, I investigated it how you showed a way of cooperation in a Japanese imperialism policy.
