As IT-technics developes so fast, the possibility of violation against the right of informational self-determination is getting larger than ever. With the trend it is needed that the methods for the protection of individual information in regard to medical information should be reviewed by this Article. Main subjects in the arcticle consist of the definition of medical information, the characters of medical information, the right of informational self-determination as the constitutional ground for the protection on medical information, international and natioanl norms for the protection of medical information. At the end, the institutional means for making the involved regulations better are chased.
