In this paper, the designed a highly efficient switched capacitor (SC) DC-DC converter using a 0.18㎛ CMOS process technology. The converter supplies a nominal max load current of 2mA with an efficiency of 88%. And when the LDO is turned on, which is 50% of the efficiency. The switched capacitor operates with a constant input voltage of 1.8V and produces an output voltage of 0.55V or 0.85V. The proposed converter is intended to be used in power management units for mobile devices and to substitute complex and expensive inductor based DC-DC converters. The simulation results showed that proposed DC-DC converter have 88% power efficiency while output ripple is below 40mV in 4MHz clock frequency.
