There are various studies into providing useful information to users on the web. Web usage mining is a method to extract meaningful patterns based on web users" log data. Most of the existing approaches to web usage mining, however, have not considered users" diverse intentions, but created general models. Web users" search keywords can have various meanings based on their preferences and in various contexts. This study generates a multi-intention web pages model (MIW-Model) after collecting and analyzing web usage information relating to user keywords of interest. The MIW-Model can supply web page navigation networks reflecting users’ various intentions. It can also be used to recommend the most appropriate web pages, and we confirmed that the suggested method is useful enough.
