    Pinus thunbergii forest is the most common forest vegetation on coastal dunes in the warmtemperate zone of Japan. Pine bark have been reported to contains high levels of natural polyphenols with various biological activities, making this material an attractive source of raw materials used in the fields of medicine, health, nutrition and cosmetics. In this study, we investigated the whether the ethanol extract of Pinus thunbergii Parl. (EPT) influenced on adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and the metabolic disorders in high fat diet-induced C57BL/6 obese mice. We demonstrated that EPT induced a significant reduce in lipid accumulation and expression of adipogenic marker genes in a dose-dependent manner in 3T3-L1 cells. in ... 전체 초록 보기
