The Purpose of this study ate as follows : 1. to examine influence of movement Education on developing sociality of young children. 2. to examine differences in sociality with respect to children`s sex, birth order, mother`s job, age, paticipation of program, education level of mother. To maintain this purpose, we investigated the young children in the Gymboree from July. 1, 1996, to August. 29, 1996. We experimented with movement Education program one times a week for twelve weeks, a total twelve experiments and surveyed the sociality from their mother through pre and post test. To carry out this research, the social and Emotional development Estimate Scale-request(1994) made from the Korean Behavior Science Institute was revised to evaluate young children`s social development which was divided as the six development factor. The statistical analysis method for analysis of data includes, T-test, ANOVA, person Integral correlation. The result obtained from this study were are follows : 1. After the practice of the movement Education for young children, there was statistically significant relationship between young children`s developing sociality and movement Education. 2. The result of the young children`s social development according to sex, threre was no significant differences in sociality. 3. The result of the young children`s social development according to children`s birth order, there was no significant relations to social development. 4. The result of the young children`s social development according to children`s mother`s job, there was no significant relations to social development. 5. According to their age, there was statistically significant difference in communication, locomotion, self-direction, self-help, accupation, socialization. 6. According to the participation of program, there was statistically significant difference in Locomotion, self-direction, Occupation, self-help at the level of P$lt;0.001, and communication, socialization at the level of P$lt;0.05. 7. According to the mother`s education level, there was significant difference in communication, self-direction, occupation, self-help, socialization.
