Modern Hanok has contemporary and international charms that provide physical well-being and psychological comfort. Studies for Hanok construction technology development revived in the 21st century make an attempt to integrate modern construction technology into Hanok for globalization. The Hanok globalization, however, needs to concern the Hanok identity that places importance on topography and residents. Therefore it should be directed not to export the archetypical buildings but for sharing the culture of Hanok. Hanok buildings need to be considered being taken apart into each component, for the Hanok globalization, and to be recombined with contemporary processes.
