Based on the various applications of aeroacoustic noise prediction method, new numerical simulation software has been developed. The aeroacoustic pressure is calculated by the Ffowcs-Williams and Hawkings equation. The unsteady flow field data which was used in aeroacoustic solver is analyzed by using an easy, fast and accurate CFD solver ? SC/Tetra. In order to validate our method and software, interaction noise generated from an airfoil located in a wake of cylinder is predicted. The predicted aeroacoustic pressure agrees well with the measured one. Noise generated from the sirocco fan of a HVAC system is analyzed. Aeroacoustic noise has strong tonal sound and broadband noise. The predicted sound pressure level and acoustic spectrum agree well with the measured data in not only tonal noise but also broadband noise. Also, we can see that the cutoff part is the dominant noise source position. The dominant noise source positions for axial and cross-flow fan are shown.
