The purpose of this study is to provide activation plan by analyzing the present situation of domestic assistance policy regarding talent donation activities of the university students in dance major. I consider that the talent donation activities through dance facilitate social communication. Accordingly, while examining the present situation and concrete cases of respective assistance policy on talent donation by national government, local authorities, and private organizations, this study has suggested an activation plan to induce more dance students to the talent donation activities.
The talent donation activities of the university students in dance major are firstly to satisfy the social need of general citizens toward artists and are secondly based on the necessity of talent donation activities of the universities. Thirdly, the talent donation activities in dance major play a role of practical internship, performing personality and intellectual education. Nevertheless, research on social service by the university students in dance major is at minimal level. Thus, this study has a value as a basic research in establishing developmental plan to promote the talent donation activities of the university students in dance major, while analyzing the current institutional assistance situation.
