By the effectiveness of the software product line methodology and component-based development methodology are proven, the need for maintenance and related artifacts many components has increased. The components that were already developed must be managed through the repository and a function of component configuration management is essential to support the improved maintenance service. For these reasons, component specification based Component Configuration Management is proposed in this paper. To achieve this goal, not only to define the requirements of configuration management support system of related components and artifacts from the Component Repository but also identifies the components that are configuration management, record the state of the shape, to identify the important information of the shape and auditing shape control of components. Finally, the possibility of applying this research results to national defense weapon system software will be shown and a result of the prototype implementation will be given in this paper.
