The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of female players’ attitude for menstruation on player satisfaction and stress coping. Subjects are female players in fencing, soccer, track & field and handball while they are attending junior high schools. 360 questionnaires are collected using a convenience sampling method. As 13 questionnaires with unfaithful answers are excluded, a total of 347 questionnaires are selected and analyzed. The following results are obtained.
First, among the sub-factors of attitudes for menstruation, menstruation is a natural phenomenon factor which gives a positive effect on coaching direction satisfaction. Menstruation is an incident factor psychologically and physically weakening female players and it gives a negative effect on task achievement satisfaction. Menstruation is a natural phenomenon factor which gives a positive effect on task achievement satisfaction and social interactive satisfaction. Second, among the sub-factors of attitudes for menstruation, menstruation is a phenomenon factor that does not affect the behavior of women and it gives a positive effect on the emotional response. Menstruation is a phenomenon factor that does not affect the behavior of women and a natural phenomenon factor and it gives a positive effect on problem-centered coping. Menstruation is an incident factor psychologically and physically weakening women and a bothersome incident factor and it gives a negative effect on problem-centered coping. Third, among the sub-factors of player satisfaction, task achievement satisfaction factor gives a positive effect on social support pursuit and coaching direction satisfaction factor gives a positive effect on problem-centered coping.
