In this study, the authors have explored and analyzed the cause and types of professional conflict that the dancers who have served on the professional dance company have experienced while in-service. This paper aim to provide the basic information that the professional dancers establish the professional identity and undertake a satisfactory practice and performance activity, and the operators of the professional dance company can recognize the internal problems which should be improved. The professional conflict factors of the professional dancers were classified into psychological factor, physical factor and social factor. First, the professional dancers have suffered the conflict due to the repeated work repertory, the performance and practice schedule, the movement that their own thinking can not be reflected, or lacking remuneration, the burden for the memorizing of work order, and the mistake during performances. Second, the professional dancers have experienced the physical difficulties such as the injury due to practice and performance, the damage influencing on colleagues, the continued performance with the injured body, and the weight loss. Third, it was investigated that they have suffered the conflict in the living of dance company due to the atmosphere of competition, and a hierarchical dominance order.
