This study was conducted to investigate the optimum storage temperature and the effect of 1-MCP on the postharvest physiological and quality of plumcoat fruits. Plumcoats were stored at 0, 5, 10, 20℃, or the fruits were treated with 1 μL·L⁻¹ 1-MCP at 10℃ for 24 h and stored at 10℃. Our results found out that lower storage temperature effectively reduced respiration rate with delaying quality changes. While, there were physiological disorder at low temperature 0℃, 5℃.
