At the center of the literary world of Borges, there is "reading ". To him the reading a book mean to write a book and the same time symbolically to create one world. However, the distance between the text and the writer and the reader is not always kept constant, being created and destroyed forever in the world of dynamic movement, is the generated space.
So, to the general reader, the works of Borges is a difficult and intricate. There is any significance to read these works of Borges? According to Robert Escarpit the reading divided into two broad, one is the reading for obtain information, the other to enjoy the reading itself, the reading without any clear sense of purpose. As a good example of the reading without any clear sense of purpose or artistic act of reading would be the work of Borges.
But would consider the era of Borges, is able to think deeper and different. Borges lived on the era of fascism and that time, the era that the art became a maid of ideology and power, published several novels and poems. And some readers read the works of Borges. What to expect in all mentioned, first of all, is without falling into ignorance or the obscurantism, can keep rationality usually and through intelligent play can train the way of handling intelligently for resolving all problems. In addition, increasing the potential to be able to resistant all oppression and violence. This would be the effectiveness of the literary world of Borges.
