One of the urgent socio-demographic issues that our society have faced is the changes in family structure. To cope with the unexpected growth in small households, government introduced a new housing type, called Urbanistic housing in 2009. This research intended to find the way to improve the Urbanistic housing by looking into the supplying trends of the Urbanistic housing and regulations on it together. All laws and regulations on Urbanistic housings that have revised since it started and housing policies lately enforced were reviewed. And then stacked statistical data on the Urbanistic housings supplied in Seoul from 2009 to 2014 was analysed with the view point of nation-wide use zoning, types and scale of the Urbanistic housing and yearly trends of housing provision. It was obvious that regulations and policies sustainedly enhanced the quantitative provision of tiny sized unit household densely. With the result that there flooded small sized studio-type Urbanistic housing in a few years. Now there should be supportive solutions to make those stuffy housing a home for small householders. Not as a ways to increasing the number of housings but also as a way to let small householders feel home at Urbanistic housing.
