Today, the desire of people`s leisure life is being increased by the growth of income and leisure time. Professional dancers have played a critical role in diverse culture and art fields. After the change of their status from an official to private salary earners, the importance of the study related their job satisfaction was emerged. Therefore, the study examined existing research trends and tested whether factors affecting job satisfaction were equally revealed in all groups. Especially, the differences among the groups in the determinants of professional dancers` job satisfaction were investigated and the characteristics of each group by clusters were analyzed. To satisfy these objectives, hierarchical cluster analysis by Ward`s method was applied. Then one-way ANOVA was carried out to verify the differences in mean among the clusters. As a result of analysis, six clusters were obtained such as supervision group, promotion group, two types of recognition group, work group and colleague group. The differences to the job satisfaction were appeared dissimilarly among the types of clusters. The highest job satisfaction was exposed in the cluster of promotion group followed by recognition group. Consequently, the hypothesis that the mean among groups by the type of clusters which are constructed from the determinants of professional dancers` job satisfaction will be significantly different is verified.
