The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of yacht coaches coaching style on athlete`s satisfaction level. A survey was conducted of achieving the object of the study on 161 yacht racers. The collected data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA and phased recession analysis and the following conclusions were made. First, the coaching style by belonging team showed statistical difference in the democratic behaviors and despotic behaviors. The university team showed high performance in democratic and despotic behaviors compared to other teams. The racers satisfaction level statistical difference in all subordinate factors of sports performance satisfaction level and psychological satisfaction level. The university team showed higher satisfaction than other teams. Second, the coaching style by career statistical difference in despotic behaviors. The team coaches over 5-year career showed higher performance than other teams. The racers satisfaction level showed difference in all subordinate factors of sports performance satisfaction level and psychological satisfaction level. The team coaches over 5-year career showed high in sports performance satisfaction level and that of between 2-year and 5-year career showed high in psychological satisfaction level, respectively. Third, the coaching style by performance level showed statistical difference in democratic behaviors, despotic behaviors and social supportive behaviors. The elite team showed higher than the non-elite team. The satisfaction level showed statistical difference in all subordinate factors of sports performance satisfaction and psychological satisfaction. The elite group showed higher satisfaction than the non-elite group. Fourth, when verifying the effects of the coaching style by racers satisfaction level, the sports performance satisfaction level was influenced by despotic behaviors and democratic behaviors and the psychological satisfaction level was influenced by democratic behaviors and despotic behaviors.
