Generating precise reference voltage is one of the important parts when building analog devices. Thus, every circuit designer should construct a well-established bandgap reference circuit. This paper analyzes some of the key factors to be considered in order to design a precise bandgap voltage reference. A circuit designer should consider the amount of current in diode, the ratio of BJT size, opamp gain and the type of resistor, when designing a bandgap reference voltage circuit.
