Teaching Vocabulary in Foreign Language Education is most important and difficult part. Teaching Sino-Korean words for Chinese learners considered very easy work could be most difficult and error-inducing vocabulary teaching. So, this paper was intended to suggest solutions for that problem with hard thinking and analysis. In this paper, the features of both Sino-Korean words and Chinese Characters were studied and Sino-Koreans words in Korean book for beginners “Korean 1, 2 meeting everyday” of Chungbuk National University were analyzed. The Sino-Korean words extracted from the book were categorized into two parts and analyzed, and the effective teaching methods for them were studied; one part is of same shape but different meaning, the other is of different shape but same meaning. Most of all, the teachers who know the differences and points of sameness between Sino-Korean words and Chinese characters can teach Chinese students Korean language much more effectively. The constant research on various teaching methods according to the features of Sino-Korean words is demanded.
