A very first scientific investigation turned out with JODK2 program for Bongsan masked drama August, 31th, 1936 It is studied in conjunction with various academical field works up to now With this, it is qualified for good chance to research.
However, Bongsan masked drama has changed after its designation And this phenomena is related on not only aim at designation but also performing of 1936 It is also applicable to bettermost of Korean masked drama Basically, a study on the change and aspect of Bongsan masked drama is to be a typical of research for Korean masked drama.
Compared with the contents of the previous play, there are changes in lion dance, Chwidori mask, lines of Deormeori, and grandma mayal"s death.
Previous performers have their own special feature on lines They deliver it during play, and teach it to disciple Yang-soun"s Seodosori and Choi-geong-meong"s Chwibari lines are an representative examples The change of performers" lines is converted to that of delivering method and contents of their lines In the past, performers delivered their lines with special accents and intonation But these are not easy in nowadays.
The movement of dance is related on performers" special feature This is same as that of performers" lines And dance is also affected with rhythm like Taryeong Sinawi Comparing to previous dance, present dance is faster than previous one The performers today can not express beautiful dance movements accustomed to their body as the performers did in the past Guidance of dance was appeared in 1981.
There changes also in music Using Hwang-hae-do piligarak and gyeong-gi-do piligarak is an example.
