In the world, obesity is rapidly increased by high intake of food and decrease of physical activity and is recognized as a serious problem that threatens the health of the people. Recently, many anti-obesity drugs are in development, among these, it is well known that diphlorethohydroxycarmalol (DPHC) originated from Ishige okamurae has anti-oxidant activity and occurs apoptosis in 3T3-L1 cells. In this study, our propose is to investigate the anti-obesity effects of Ishige okamurae extract in 3 different adipocytes.
