The public rental multi-family housing complex started to solve living problem of low-income group was biased to expand qualitative provision by creating high-rise apartment and large-scale housing complex so as to relieve the housing difficulties urgently. So, desolate housing space focusing on individual was placed rather than living with neighbors, with simple and uniform living environment, insufficient of external space, etc. The culture living together should be formed so that apartment house can form social housing unit beyond the gathering of physical living unit. Therefore, it’s necessary to develop community facility and program operation manual which can vitalize community spirit of residents.
For the method and content of this study, the current situation of community facility was compared and analyzed by complex characteristics through the in-site survey for 10-year public rental multi-family housings provided by Korea Land Housing Corporation. And, this thesis compared and analyzed the needs by characteristics of public rental multi-family housing complex by grasping the needs of community facility and program through the survey of residents. The results of this study are expected to be the fundamental material for the operation method and model development of public rental multi-family housing’s community facility and program in the future.
