The purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between subjective happiness and social capital. The data for the analysis were collected through questionnaire survey method from October 29 to November 10, 2013, and the sample consisted of 338 resident living in Seoul and GyeongGi. The social capital was composed of degree of neighbor relationship(network), sense of community(norm) and neighbors trust(trust). The findings of the study were as following: 1) The subjective happiness of respondents was generally happy(3.82 points). 2) The degree of neighbor relationship(network) was not active. The sense of community(norm) and neighbors trust(trust) were intermediate-level. 3) The social capital impacted on the subjective happiness. Above all, the degree of neighbor relationship(network) impacted greatly on the subjective happiness.
