The purpose of the study was to analyze what made distinction between features of consumer and attitudes of the mortgage loan. Social survey research using questionnaire was conducted among expecting purchasers of housing from November 9th to 20th. 119 questionnaires were collected in Seoul and Metropolitan area. SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program was used for statistical analysis.
The results were as follows : 1) People who use loan for buying housing were not satisfied with the experience of using loan generally and wanted lower interest than of present rate. 2) People didn’t recognize the mortgage loan well and they didn’t know specific informations of mortgage loan such as tax return system. 3) Preference of the mortgage loan was high and had a positive intention to use mortgage loan for buying house.
In conclusion, for increasing demand of mortgage loan, bank authority must develop various type of mortgage loan and need to supply experts.
