The purpose of the study is to develop mobile Christian character education by linking the home and church. The home and church have acted as major Christian educational agencies throughout Christian education history, starting from the biblical age up until now. However, these two Christian educational agencies have been jeopardized due to the rapidly changing educational environment, along with increasing digital and school violence, making it difficult to teach Christian values such as the nine “Fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23). On July 21, 2015, the Korean government enacted legislation of “Character Education Promotion” due to the increasing phenomena of character disintegration among the youth. Could it be possible to develop good character by school character education alone? Character education, in its true sense, includes Christian education; however, the church has been estranged from family. Christian character education needs to be developed for mobile educational communities that link the home and church in order for values to be taught and made possible in the digital world.
