The “reflection” and “penetration” of “light” have been used for a long time for a variety of human needs. In the twentieth century, when the dominant period of fine art ended and media art began to emerge, many artists began to use mirrors to apply these properties as tools of expression. Light, reflection, and mirror have philosophical implication itself as a medium and topic in media art because they have been used as a tool for expression and contained many symbols from the origin of mankind. On this account, this study did not discuss about art that used light one-dimensionally, but intended to provide more expanded area in the age of cutting-edge art by analyzing the recreated cases by grafting paintings of the past that used light and reflection principle of mirror invented in future with another cutting-edge technology.
